$25/hour | Property Maintenance Technician | Weekly Pay

Position: Property Maintenance Technician 

Location: Nottingham, MD

Pay: $25/hour 

Experience:

1. 3+ years of residential maintenance experience
2. Previous experience with apartment turnovers and preventive maintenance.

Education: HVAC Certification is required. 

Type: Full-time; Contract  

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm 

HireOne Staffing is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!   

Job Description:  

1. Assist with basic repairs (tighten hardware, patch small holes, hang shelves).
2. Unclog sinks and toilets; identify and report leaks.
3. Replace light bulbs, reset breakers, and test smoke/CO detectors.
4. Change HVAC filters and clean vents.
5. Perform preventive cleaning to reduce mold, pests, and other issues.
6. Clean and maintain appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, washer/dryer).
7. Safely use basic tools (screwdriver, wrench, pliers, hammer, drill).
8. Perform routine inspections and report maintenance issues promptly,

Position Requirements:    

1. Ability to be on-call 2 weeks at a time with 2 weeks off.
2. Valid driver's license and insurance.
3. Understanding of emergency shutoffs and following basic home safety practices.
