Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Waldorf, MD
Pay: $25/hour
Experience:
- 3+ years of residential maintenance experience, apartment turnovers, preventative maintenance, HVAC and plumbing experience required
- Must have a valid driver's licence and insurance
Type: Full-time; Contract
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
HireOne Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Basic repairs (tighten hardware, patch small holes, hang shelves)
- Unclog sinks and toilets; identify and report leaks
- Replace light bulbs, reset breakers, and test smoke/CO detectors
- Change HVAC filters and clean vents
- Safely use basic tools (screwdriver, wrench, pliers, hammer, drill)
- Clean and maintain appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, washer/dryer)
- Preventive cleaning to reduce mold, pests, and wear
- Perform routine inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Knowledge of emergency shutoffs
