Position: Maintenance Technician 

Location: Washington, D.C

Pay: $25/hour 

Experience: Previous experience in apartment maintenance, punch work, or general maintenance.

Type: Full-time; Contract  

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift

HireOne Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!   

Job Description:  

1.  Perform apartment punch inspections to prepare units for new move-ins
2. Test and inspect appliances, cabinets, doors, and fixtures
3. Check bathroom and kitchen plumbing for leaks, proper function, and flow
4. Inspect and test HVAC systems to ensure proper operation
5. Identify needed repairs and complete basic maintenance tasks
6. Document issues and communicate findings with maintenance or management teams
7. Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas

Position Requirements:    

1. Basic knowledge of appliances, plumbing, and HVAC systems
2. Ability to identify maintenance or repair needs
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
4. Strong attention to detail
5. Excellent communication skills
