Position: Maintenance Technician

Location: Ashburn, VA

Pay: $25.00/hour

Experience: Experience in HVAC, plumbing, drywall repair, painting, and apartment maintenance required

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred

Type: Full-time; Temporary

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM


HireOne Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!


Job Description:

  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs in residential apartment units
  2. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems
  3. Complete plumbing repairs and preventative maintenance tasks
  4. Repair drywall and prepare surfaces for painting
  5. Perform interior and exterior painting as needed
  6. Respond to maintenance work orders in a timely manner
  7. Conduct unit turns and prepare apartments for new residents
  8. Inspect properties and identify maintenance concerns
  9. Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory
  10. Provide excellent service to residents and property staff


Position Requirements:

  1. Experience with HVAC troubleshooting and repairs
  2. Knowledge of plumbing systems and maintenance procedures
  3. Proficiency in drywall repair and painting
  4. Apartment maintenance experience preferred
  5. Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills
  6. Excellent customer service and communication skills
  7. Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  8. Dependable, reliable, and detail-oriented
  9. Strong safety awareness and work ethic
  10. Ability to lift, carry, and move maintenance equipment as needed
