Location: Lynchburg, VA
Pay: $20.00/hour
Experience: At least 1 year of maintenance experience required
Type: Full-time; Contract
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
HireOne Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic property maintenance team!
Job Description:
- Perform light plumbing and light electrical repairs
- Complete apartment turnovers to prepare units for new residents
- Install appliances as needed
- Perform drywall repair, flooring installation, and carpet installation
- Handle light HVAC maintenance and repairs
- Assist with groundskeeping duties
- Safely operate hand and power tools for various maintenance tasks
Position Requirements:
- Hard skills: Light plumbing and electrical skills; experience with apartment turnovers; appliance installation; drywall, flooring, and carpet installation; light HVAC knowledge; comfortable using hand and power tools
- Soft skills: Reliable and dependable; strong problem-solving ability; comfortable working independently and managing multiple maintenance tasks
